A part of the Bay Area Chapter of the Climate Reality Project, Solano Climate Policy Action Team meetings are open to anyone in Solano or neighboring counties who has the desire to take local action on the climate crisis to help prevent, mitigate and reverse its effects.
To inspire, enable and mobilize teams of informed grassroots volunteers to demand, facilitate, measure and enforce the bold local policies and personal actions needed to cut current GHG emissions and sequester prior emissions in time to preventing climate catastrophe.

The California Green Business Program helps businesses follow best practices for waste management, energy, water management, pollution prevention, and air quality. Being a Certified Green Business is the clearest way to show your community and customers that you care about sustainability.
Local governments can make all the difference - learn what yours is doing
The Solano County developed a Climate Action Plan in 2011 to address climate change and reduce the community’s greenhouse gas emissions at the local level. This plan recommends 31 measures and 94 implementing actions that the community can take to reduce both emissions and communitywide contributions to global climate change.
